Maybe not the best advice but perhaps replace the word "guilt" with unwelcome people, information, ideas and just drop all that bullshit into a big stinking pile.. And walk away.

Opposition isn't always a bad thing in one's life but I suspect most of it is dead-weight, so leave that shit behind.
